We stopped recycling paper
Apr 2, 2026

After years of recycling our premium card stocks, we’re done.
We have moved to a systematic process of composting and renewing our paper scrap into healthy, nutrient-rich soil.
The idea of shredding our paper scrap and incorporating it into compost seemed like it could work.
We just needed the right tools and a little time.
After 6 months of baby steps, we are now converting all of our uncoated paper scrap into compost and soil, replacing a third-party dependency with a documented, in-house renewal system.

Paper Off-cuts - If you've been to a print shop, you've seen a lot of this.

Shredded Paper - Transformation begins with a leaf shredder.

Paper Compost - Shredded paper mixes perfectly with food scraps.

Renewal & Growth - Carbon-rich paper fibers combine with Nitrogen in food scraps to create healthy soil.
