Neenah
Classic Crest

We work with Neenah Classic Crest for a few clear reasons. Its proximity to Chicago allows our suppliers to source directly from the mill with reliable speed and availability. Its premium, firm finish avoids the soft “spongy” feel found in lower-grade papers. It also offers an excellent range of stock colors, including multiple shades of white and gray. Most importantly, it has a proven track record we trust.

Kurz & Infinity

For foil, we work with Kurz and Infinity. We choose these vendors for the same reasons we choose our paper—reliable Midwest warehousing, strong local availability, and consistently high quality. Their stock foil colors are readily available, and premium options are just as easy to source. We also prioritize superior pigment quality and clean foil release, which both brands deliver.

Clean Transfer &
Quality Image

Once the material is selected, the real work on press begins. Even the best stock requires precise setup to achieve consistent, high-quality results. Proper make-ready is essential for a clean, repeatable impression. We focus on even pressure and accurate heat settings to ensure every piece finishes exactly as intended.

Too Much Heat
& Pressure

This image shows what happens when heat and pressure are set too high. Fine details can fill in, and edges begin to spread and lose definition. Often, a small pressure adjustment corrects the issue. If not, we fine-tune the temperature until the image prints clean and sharp.

Too Little Heat
& Pressure

When heat and pressure are too low, foil won’t fully release or adhere evenly. Coverage can appear thin, patchy, or incomplete, and fine details may look broken or faded. The solution is careful adjustment—incrementally increasing heat and pressure until the foil lays down clean, solid, and consistent.
